Simple steamed egg tofu

An extremely versatile dish that I learnt from my mum, this Simple Steamed Egg Tofu can be made in less than 20 minutes and provides a protein rich dish for your lunch or dinner! Stop buying pre-made egg tofu from the shop and make yours today!

Ingredients (serves 2): 4 eggs 1 cup water or chicken stock 1 tablespoon light soy sauce or fish sauce chopped onion leaf to garnish

Beat eggs until light Add water or chicken stock and mix Add light soy sauce and mix Steam for approx. 10~15 mins Carefully separate the egg tofu from bowl with soft spatula Serve warm with a drizzle of light soy sauce on top and chopped onion leaf as garnish Optional: Feel free to add shrimp, minced chicken or pork, caramelized onions or whatever ingredients you feel like having to bring the egg tofu up a whole new level!!
