I've never made any kind of tomato/meat sauce from scratch before. I grew up just using bottled Ragu for spaghetti, and I don't really know much about making it. My girlfriend won't touch bottled sauces though, and I'm really wanting to make spaghetti this weekend. So yeah, I'm looking for tomato spaghetti sauce recipes--I've found some already, but I'm hoping people here can give me some pointers. Another note, my girlfriend tends to dislike canned veggies as well--so I'm looking to use fresh tomatoes. Thankies.
