So I've been cooking for fun since I'm stuck at home a couple more weeks following surgery. Just random stuff... been working on getting a good basic tomato sauce down, salmon tartare, made my first chuck roast, did Jacques Pépin's chicken jardinière, might do a gratin dauphinois later this week. What would be some other fun little projects? It can be anything from any culture really, appetizers, seafood, big rustic dishes, vegetarian, red meat... you get the idea.
