[Request] Meals I can travel 6-7 hours with?

Hopefully this is allowed, if not please remove. I’m not sure of another sub I can post this in.

In 2 weeks I will be traveling 6-7 hours with my husband and father to see my sweet grandmother for the long weekend. I would like to bring some casserole dishes for us to have while we are there. I have a large cooler bag I can transport them in, but I’m worried about them staying cold the whole time. Should I freeze them and then just let them thaw while on the road?

Also, the biggest thing I’m looking for is casserole dishes that would transport easily. I don’t make casseroles often, so looking for some recommendations. So far I’ve thought of spaghetti casserole and garlic bread.

Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.
