In Puerto Rico, they sell a cake called "bizcocho de novia" (meaing cake for girlfriend/bribe), it looks like this, this cake has a particular flavor and taste that I cannot seem to emulate. I have search everywhere for this cake and I cannot find the recipe! It appears to be a simple yellow cake but I can guarantee you that it is not the same taste and flavor. Maybe you know the name of the cake so that I could maybe get better search result instead of actual wedding cakes. I appreciate any kind of help!
