Sauce for mussels & pasta?

I have mussels out of the shell, and linguine and I need a sauce idea? I bought basil, garlic and a lemon and wondering what the next ingredient I could add to make it pop? Hoping to stay away from butter.

Bonus: what else should I add? Tomatoes?
