What could be the name/origin of this dish? Oil pasta with pork belly and broccoli.

Something I had growing up a lot and only in the last few years have I been making it myself. I know it's Italian as my nonna is the one who usually served it to me, but not much else.

  1. olive oil in a pan with diced pork belly
  2. season to taste
  3. cook until almost firm enough, add in a couple minced garlic cloves
  4. cook until fragrant and pork belly firm enough, remove from heat
  5. water to a boil in a large pot
  6. add in penne
  7. roughly cut some broccoli so you have small florets
  8. when penne almost al dente, add broccoli to pot
  9. when penne and broccoli cooked as you desire, remove from heat, drain
  10. combine pork belly with oil to pasta, mix

Googling "pork belly broccoli pasta" doesn't give much info. I'd love a name for it so I can look up recipes and fine tune what I have. I already add sundried tomatoes in step 1. It's one of my favorite cheap dinners.

bon appetit
