I'd like to try my hand at making these. Problem is every recipe I find online says it is nothing like the authentic Dutch version. I've heard use molasses and then don't use molasses. I've heard use dark corn syrup then don't use dark corn syrup. I've heard to use more or less butter. I've heard to buy premade carmel and then others say to make your own. I'm here to get the real answers. Anyone have an authentic recipe and suggestions?
