My mom has esophageal cancer and can only eat soft foods. Need help with ideas.

She was just diagnosed at stage 3. She cannot eat anything starchy like breads and pastas or rice or potatoes (except really creamy mashed).

She’s really having a hard time with not eating “good food”. She loves meat and potatoes, most all veggies, and ice cream. She detests milk and cottage cheese. She’s barely okay with yogurt. She’s also not big on “ethnic foods” except fried Chinese food or greasy Mexican food. She likes halibut but not much other fish.

What can I make for her that’s soft and tastes good to her?
