Hey,
I'm looking for a recipe for baked mac n' cheese, preferably with a few different cheeses (smoked gouda, mozz, cheddar?) that DOESN'T require a roux/bechamel.
I don't trust myself to not screw up a roux and create a gritty consistency in my sauce, so I am wondering if there is a good recipe for baked mac n' cheese (preferably for a Thanksgiving family) that won't require the extra step of a roux. I really like breadcrumbs on the top, for the amazing texture.
Thanks for the help (:
bon appetit
