Ingredients
8 oz cream cheese 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese 1 cup greek yogurt 3-4 jalapenos 1 tsp salt 1 cup breadcrumbs (*optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375ºF. Finely dice jalapenos. For a spicier dip, leave all the seeds and use 4 jalapenos (depending on size). For more of a medium, I used 3 large jalapenos and cut out half the seeds. And for mild, remove all seeds.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix the cream cheese, cheddar, yogurt, jalapenos and salt. It helps if the cream cheese has been set out ahead to soften a bit.
- Pour the mixture into a skillet or baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes or until it starts to bubble.
- If using breadcrumbs, sprinkle those over top of the mixture and remove once they start to brown.
- Serve immediately with tortilla chips or your favorite crackers.
It was a huge hit, I will definitely be making it again. Not sure how to add the image, but I found the recipe at https://www.pantry34.com/jalapeno-popper-dip/
bon appetit
