I've been wondering if I should buy a slow cooker for a while now since I've seen a lot of people owning one but I don't really see the point of buying and I see a lot of people using one. I have a roasting/brasing pan I use for low and slow cooking in my oven and I can also use my stovetop. Other than the fact you can turn it on in the AM and come home to cooked good in the PM, is there any other benefit I'm missing?
