This is a pretty easy recipe for these sweets, basically they're like Brazilian chocolate truffles.
Ingredients
- 1 can condensed milk
- 1 can dulche de leche
- 1/2 can table cream
- 400g dark chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- Chocolate sprinkles
Directions
-
Combine dark chocolate and butter in a big bowl and microwave for 1 minute. Stir it up well with a spatula. If you can still see some chunks, repeat this step.
-
Add condensed milk, table cream and dulche de leche. Mix well.
-
Microwave the mix for about 90 seconds. Again, mix well with a spatula.
-
Repeat step 3 until the texture is like a soft caramel. It should take 5 or 6 rounds in the microwave to get to the right texture. To test it, take a spoonful of the mix and cool it until you can handle it comfortably. Then, roll it into a ball with your fingers. If the mix is ready, it should not stick to your fingers.
-
Now spread the mix on a tray and put it in the fridge for 30-45 minutes to cool.
-
When the mix is chilled, take tablespoon size chunks of mix and roll into balls, then roll the balls in chocolate sprinkles. You're done. If you wanna be fancy, you can place these in those little paper candy cups, like when you buy a box of truffles. These are delicious, and easy.
I got this recipe here. I changed the steps a bit to be more clear, but check the original if you want some photos or video.
