Recipe request

I’m not sure if this is the right sub but I’m trying to find a recipe that my mother used to make. We called it “birdies” growing up but I believe it’s called “brazhoule”? Google is telling me that’s not the right spelling and returning results for an Italian dish. I believe it’s Swedish. It consists of ground pork tenderloin, bread crumbs, and some spices rolled in slices of beef top round that’s been pounded flat. I know they’re browned and then covered with some sort of mushroom and onion broth and simmered for a length of time. I also know the secret ingredient in the broth is a tablespoon (maybe two?) of sugar. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

bon appetit
