Years ago my girlfriend had some really bad Gnocchi, she hasn't had them since, but I've convinced her to try them again. Does anyone have an interesting Gnocchi recipe?

I'm gonna make homemade Gnocchi, and serve them with fresh ciabatta and a green salad. I'm certain that my Gnocchi will be worlds better than the shitty take-out ones she had, but I don't just want her to say "yeah, tasty", I want her to say "Wow, this is amazing".

Sure, I could make a tomato-cream sauce with basil and parmiggiano, but I feel like thats too... boring? She eats pasta with tomato sauce a lot, and this wouldnt really impress her.

Does anyone have a good recipe for gnocchi thats more interesting and introduces some not-so-common flavors? I was thinking about doing something with salsiccia maybe, but I havent made Gnocchi in AGES, so I'm kinda rusty in that department. Any and all advice is welcome, thank you!
