Very easy!
2x slices wheat bread Mayo 2x slices melty American cheese 3x slices smoked deli ham Fav hot sauce, I used Secret Aardvark
Spread a thin layer of the mayo on each slice of the bread and place mayo down in a warmed skillet. Add a slice of cheese on top of each slice of bread. Warm the next to the bread if it’s a large pan or separately if not. Add a splash or two of hot sauce on top of the cheese to warm until the bread is toasted. Assemble and enjoy.
The mayo was something I heard about recently and it’s great, much less greasy than butter. I think I just got lucky and all of this seemed to work well and was relatively balanced...I may add one more slice of ham, but man this was a great Sammy.
I would always suggest using the higher quality ham, it’s usually not much more expensive. Avoid “water added” ham and look for “natural juices”.
