I need the perfect lemon meringue pie recipe. So my friend was a chef for twenty odd years he hated it in the end and attributed it to being an alcoholic and his crippling depression. Five years ago we said we would make lemon meringue pie together and I’d like to surprise him with all the ingredients so we can work towards making it one day, we have cooked together at times and have enjoyed each other’s limited times together.
