I’m not a real fan of soup and haven’t made it in years, but want to have a least one go to recipe, and to maybe stock the freezer. Anyone able to share their go to soup recipe? Also I don’t like lentles or chickpeas, and can’t eat tomatoes.

Recipe Request for good crunchy on the outside, chewy and fluffy on the inside dough based donut (not cake batter based). Also requesting for nice elephant ears (deep fried flat dough) recipe that's also crunchy on the outside yet also chewy.
I already looked at Bon Appetit's Brad and Claire makes donut series and not sure if I want a brioche based donut. However, I'm completely new to donut making, so if brioche based donuts are the best, then I'm game.
I do bake sourdough breads and pizzas, so I'm open to using either a starter or yeast.
I'd appreciate some recipes some of you may have tried out and really enjoy and depend on for donuts and also for state fair type of elephant ears.
Again, I did look and allrecipe has one out there that many people seem to like, but was wondering if there are others I should consider.
Thank you for your time and courtesy!
[Friday] What are you cooking this weekend?
It's Friday so what are your plans for cooking this weekend? Share any great recipes you're looking forward to try or maybe you have a whole dinner planned out. Let's hear it!
I need a recipe for my 79 year old German grandmother.
My grandmother is coming over to my house this weekend and I want to cook her something. I just have no clue what. I know she really likes German food so if someone can direct me to a recipe that’d be great.
Super Spicy Wings?
My friends and I are having what amounts to a drawn-out chicken wing contest. Every other week a different couple hosts, and is in charge of making wings for everyone. Six people, one pound of wings each. One spicy and one non-spicy option.
I'm doing pineapple teriyaki wings for the non-spicy option. But I don't eat spicy food (jalapenos are my upper limit), so I'm at a loss for what to make for the spicy one. Half these people complain that suicide sauces at bars is never hot enough (and eat ghost peppers for fun), so I want to knock their socks off with something spicy and delicious.
- The more spice the better, as long as it remains edible
- I'm planning on deep frying the wings, but I'm open to baked options. Don't own a barbecue, so no grilled recipes
- It has to taste like something other than just heat
