Our Recipe for A Delicious Roasted Pork Loin

I personally love eating pork. This is our go-to recipe for cooking pork loin. It comes out great every time.

Recipe:


Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of pork loin (fat trimmed)
  • 1 cup red dry wine
  • Salt, and black pepper
  • Fresh herbs:
    • Rosemary
    • Sage
    • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tbsp of pine nuts

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 200˚C or 400˚F.

  1. Trim the fat off of the pork loin and season with salt an pepper.
  2. Sear all sides of the pork loin in dry, red wine on the stove at medium high heat.
  3. Transfer the pork into a baking pan, top with rosemary, sage, and bay leaf, and pour a bit of extra red wine on top.
  4. Insert a thermometer and bake the pork until it reaches 145˚F (takes about 31 min)
  5. After the pork reaches 145˚F, let it rest for 10 min.
  6. Slice the pork into 4 portions and serve. Keep the left overs in the fridge.

You can serve the pork with your preferred sides.
