Ingredients
1 tbsp butter (to fry)
1/2 Red onion
150g Button Mushrooms
1 clove garlic (Finely chopped)
1/5 Block of Haloumi (50g)
3 Rashers of bacon
200ml Cream
250g spaghetti/tagletelli
Method
- Thinly slice the onion
- Slice the mushroom
- Cut halloumi into little blocks
- Fry bacon and cut into little pieces (Set aside)
- Fry onion in grease from baconfor 8 minutes or until soft
- Throw in mushrooms,halloumi and garlic and fry until mushrooms are soft
- Cook pasta for 9 minutes and drain
- Pour cream into mushroom fry mixture along with bacon
- Stir around and warm through
- Season with salt and pepper
- Pour mixture into pasta and stir through.
- Serve and season to taste
