My German grandmother made us pumpkin soup and it was thick and had milk, sugar & cinnamon and was finished with browned butter. It wasn't like any of the recipes I've seen online. It was on the sweet side and naturally nutty.
I was given a basic recipe but no exact measurement of pumpkin.
Is this an authentic German recipe or my Oma's invention??
Has anyone seen anything like this??
