Homemade Beef Burgers

Title: Burgers Yield: 8 burgers Cooking Time: 20 minutes Preparation Time: 10 minutes Category: Mains Cuisine: American Rating: 4/5 stars

Ingredients:

  • 500 g Minced beef
  • 4 slices Bread
  • 1 Egg
  • Milk
  • Seasoning

Method:

  1. Tear up the bread into small pieces (could use a large cheese grater to do this)
  2. Add a little milk to the bread and mix to stick together (all the milk shoud get absorbed so not too much)
  3. Add the mince, egg and seasoning and mix together (with back of a fork)
  4. Form into burger shapes and grill at 180 for 20 minutes

Notes:

Seasoning usually is salt pepper and mixed herbs, but could make Cajun burgers by replacing this with Cajun spice. Also for those who wish to look, I have a few more recipes on my blog (and will be adding many more as I try new things) which can be found here.
