I’ve been eating oatmeal every morning for the past couple months do to fitness reasons, and I’ve experimented with a lot of different methods and I just can’t find 1 that sticks out . I usually use 1 cup oatmeal , with 1 cup of water , 2 min in microwave . I find that the oatmeal is not watery nor is it stiff using this method , either way I was wondering what the traditional cooking method is, is it meant to be watery , or it meant to be stiff .. In the box they recommend 1 cup oatmeal and 1 & 3/4 water .. either way how much water too oatmeal ratio do most people use , and how long do you microwave it lol I know it may be weird to some people because it’s supposed to be simple but I’m just wondering and trying to improve it a little .. any tips would be appreciated.
