So I have a recipe which calls for 1 teaspoon of "vanilla" and 1 cup of sugar. I currently only have vanilla sugar available, but reading the ingredients list tells me that it's 90% powdered sugar and 10% vanilla powder. Would it be possible to substitute the 1 teaspoon of vanilla with 10 teaspoons of vanilla sugar and then put in less sugar than a cup to balance it?
I know I really should be using actual vanilla, but that's currently not available to me.
