Help! Missed Connection with a beautiful peanut dish.

A few weeks ago, in this thread (maybe??) someone posted, with a photo, a salad—not greens-based, but a salad in the same way that chicken salad or tuna salad are salads, except that the main ingredient was halved peanuts. It had its own one-word name. A bunch of people piped up saying that their moms had made it a lot when they were little. I think that the recipe originated in Asia, which is obviously a huge umbrella (sorry). It seemed like it would make a great staple to have around all the time, as a side dish, as a dip, on rice, anything! Like a dummy, I didn’t save it. Google just brings up peanut sauce based recipes. Does anyone know? Thank you so much!

bon appetit
