A good Super Bowl dip! This is a hot layered dip. I don't really measure so... 2-3 cans refried beans / 1-2 lbs ground beef / 1 onion chopped / 1 can diced green chilies / 8 oz cheddar cheese (you can use more if you prefer) / 8 oz Jack cheese (you can use more if you prefer) / 1-2 bottles mild taco sauce / 1 can sliced olives / sour cream / guacamole / tortilla chips. Directions: Sauté the onions. Add the ground beef and brown. Spread the refried beans in the bottom of a baking dish. Top that with the ground beef/onion mixture. Top that with the diced green chilies. Top that with the two cheeses - I mix the two cheeses up first. Top that with the bottled taco sauce. Bake @ 350 or so until bubbly and hot - usually an hour or so. Top that with the sliced olives. Serve with tortilla chips with the sour cream and guacamole on the side.
bon appetit
