What you need:
4 Cups plain vanilla yogurt (I used a 2lb container of Dannon Vanilla Yogurt)
1 Package of Nabisco Oreo Thins
1 Package of Nabisco Chocolate Oreo Thins (Optional)
1 Package of Nabisco Vanilla Oreo Thins (Optional)
1 Large mixing bowl
1 Medium mixing bowl
An electric mixer (If you don't have one, it's OK to use a fork)
A potato masher or large sturdy fork
6 Small desert bowls
1.) Start by placing roughly 10 (or more to taste) regular Oreo Thins into your medium mixing bowl
* If you want to add chocolate or vanilla oreo thins, add about 3 or 4 of those in the mixing bowl.
2.) Using your potato masher or sturdy fork, begin crushing the oreos.
*You will want them crushed into very small little chunks.
3.) Measure out 4 cups of plain vanilla yogurt into your large mixing bowl.
4.) Once you have the Oreos crushed up into nice little pieces, pour the crushed Oreos into your large mixing bowl with the yogurt.
* Try to leave a very small amount of crushed Oreos in your medium bowl.
5.) Lightly stir the Oreos into the yogurt using a fork, you don't need to stir much at this point.
* If you don't have a mixer, just stir them in really good with a fork.
6.) On the lowest possible setting, use your electric mixer to mix the Oreos in to the yogurt.
*Mix until it looks like the Oreos are blended into the yogurt really well. Just eyeball it.
7.) Using a large spoon, fill all 6 desert bowls with the yogurt.
8.) If you left a small amount of crushed Oreos in your medium mixing bowl, use them to lightly garnish the top of each desert bowl.
9.) Chill for 1 to 2 hours, serve and enjoy!
bon appetit
