Just a simple salmon roll

Ingredients: Half pound of fresh salmon. It has to be vibrant orange in color and glossy on surface with fat. One large bowl of cooked SHORT GRAIN rice. pepper Sesame oil 3 tsp for rice, 1tbsp for salmon salt Sushi Nori. 1 avocado, chopped to 2inch pieces. Cream cheese. I prefer Neufchatel just for taste and texture. 1. Cut salmon into long pieces, 1 inch thick. Marinate it with sesame oil and some salt.

  1. Mix rice with sesame oil and pinch of salt.

  2. On Nori, spread rice thinly. Then either you can spread cheese, or cut it into 1 cm thick sticks. Then put salmon and avocado pieces.

  3. Roll carefully! It shouldn't be hard at all since the nori is on the outside.
