Here's an easy recipe to make meatloaf in a slow cooker. This recipe is perfect for someone who works/has classes.
Ingredients: 1 lb of ground beef or ground turkey 1 onion 1/2 green pepper (optional) 1/2 cup ketchup 1/3 cup of bread crumbs
Directions: Step 1: Dice 1 onion. (optional - dice green pepper.) Step 2: Heat pan with olive oil on medium heat. Step 3: Once pan is heated, saute onions (and optional green pepper). Season with salt and black pepper. Step 4: When onions are translucent, stir in ketchup and turn off heat. Step 5: Mix ground meat, salt, black pepper, bread crumbs, onion/ketchup mixture in a mixing bowl. Do not over mix, just enough to combine ingredients. Step 6: For easy clean up, line the slow cooker insert with tinfoil. Step 7: Place loaf-shaped meat mixture into slow cooker insert. Step 8: (optional) Drizzle additional ketchup over meat mixture. Step 9: Set slow cooker to cook on 'high' 2.5-3 hours or 'low' 6-7 hours. Step 10: Set timer and place lid back on slow cooker.
bon appetit
