This is my favorite make ahead breakfast:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3 very ripe bananas (brown spots are good)
- 1 large egg (at room temperature)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a standard bread pan with parchment paper.
Melt butter: Melt the butter in a small sauce pan on the stove. Let cool slightly before adding to other ingredients.
