I would like to have a variety of things I can try. What are some of your guys favorite recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, and etc. I would love to hear from all cultures. I myself have a very cultural background and enjoy it's food. Which leads to me starting this thread. Please include all ingredients, cooking prep, and time. Thank you and Happy New Years!
Not sure if this is allowed or not but I can't seem to find a sauce recipe. I had a Frog Legs dry pot at a restaurant and me and my dad wanted to put the sauce on our smoked pulled pork. The restaurant makes the sauce with the fish so I couldn't get any extra to take home and try it. Does anyone have a spicy sauce that keeps you craving more even though it's so spicy.
I have about 2lbs of carrot tops and have recipes lined up that mean I will have even more. I'm hoping to actually use the carrot tops and am looking for ideas. I've heard about pestos and freezing them to eventually had to a vegetable stock. Does anyone else have favorite recipes? Thanks!
Hey guys, I wanted to cook my girlfriend dinner on New Years Eve since we will have a place to ourselves. She isn't a big meat eater but as long as it isn't shrimp she will be ok with it. I'm not the best cook but I have experience in the kitchen. Looking for a easy-Intermediate recipe. Something that might impress her. She cooks for me all the time. I want to do something nice for her.
Thanks for any help.
It's Sunday so let see or hear about some of those dishes you made over the weekend, last week, or maybe you're going to make next week.
Am I the only one at a complete loss by the bodybuilders that swear by Chipotle meals every day? Personally, every time we go to Chipotle, I have to prepare myself for gaining at least two pounds, having a food hangover, and feeling instant regret. Plus, all that sodium. Woof.
I lived next to Chipotle all next year and gained about ten pounds eating it every night. In an effort to curb my craving for burrito bowls, I came up with a “diet” burrito bowl recipe. Years later, I still use it. As an added bonus, it’s a great go-to for weekly meal prep. Mostly because it is probably the most half-assed recipe of all time.
The ingredients:
1 Bag Tri-Color Quinoa
1 Can of Black Beans
1 Can of Black Olives
1 oz. Cilantro Leaves
2 Peppers, Red & Green
1 oz. Taco Bell Taco Seasoning
1 bag of Organic Valley Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1 Scoop of light sour cream and/or Guacamole
Cook the quinoa according to the instructions on the back Once it’s done, drop it into a large container with the black beans and black olives Dice the peppers and chop cilantro leaves Drop peppers, cilantro leaves, and seasoning into bowl Mix all aforementioned ingredients When you’re ready to eat, scoop out your portion and heat in the microwave for 90 seconds Once it’s hot, add sharp cheddar cheese and toppings of your choice And now, you’re officially a burrito expert. And probably contributing to Chipotle’s plummeting stock. Enjoy!

How to Make It
Combine coconut milk, 1/2 cup water, cacao powder, syrup, and salt in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, whisking to incorporate cacao powder. Add oats, reduce heat to medium-low, and cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 5 minutes. Divide among 3 bowls; top each with a third of coconut flakes, almonds, and cacao nibs. Drizzle with additional syrup, if desired, and serve.

Due to some mild confusion I've got a lot of buttermilk to use up before it goes bad, and not a lot of recipes that use it. I can only eat so many biscuits and pancakes.
What are some recipes you have that use buttermilk? Everything's fine except fish/seafood.
Sorry if this breaks some rules but it's a recipe passed down from my 81 year old Portuguese grandma who's measurements are basically... "some" of this, "lots" of that, and "maybe this too"
This is a generic crab cake recipe for reference about measurement sizes.
I'm posting so maybe people have a recipe to make use of leftover thanksgiving/ christmas dinner food. Once again, I do not have direct measurements and I'm sorry for being a terrible person.
Mix into a large bowl.
Depending on how you like your food you can either
If you're wondering what the mixture ratio should be, it's quite easy.
Use cranberry sauce as a dip if you enjoy. Thanks for reading and I hope I did ok.
Hi all,
Anyone have any good recipes for powdered french toast flavoring? Something one could sprinkle on popcorn or cookies?

1 can (12oz.) evaporated milk
2 tsp. seasoned salt
2 tsp. dried minced onion
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Boil macaroni until tender.
Add all ingredients to crockpot set to low.
Cook 2.5-3 hours until done.
I'm experimenting making it with 1 pound of sharp cheddar and a half a pound of habanero jack right now. I'll update when it's done in a couple hours.
I want to make something I use eggnog with to surprise my dad with.
What are some recipes you guys can give me? :)
My boyfriend loves the spicy carrots you find on a salsa bar at Mexican restaurants. I wanted to make some to go along with dinner some night soon. Anyone have a good recipe?
