What's the best sandwich combination you've had?

What are some New Years food traditions ?
My family is from Guyana and for New Years Eve (old years night as they would call it) they make a dish called Cook Up Rice, which is a one pot dish with rice, black eye peas or lentils, coconut milk, pepper, seasoning and meat (optional). I personally do not have a recipe, but my mom makes a great pot of it. I’m curious about other traditions for New Year’s Eve/day.

Best Keto Recipe- Cheesy Cauliflower Casserole | Keto Diet

This makes a total of 8 servings of Cheesy Cauliflower Casserole Each serving comes out to be 135.13 Calories, 10.48g Fats, 4.47g Net Carbs, and 5.42g Protein.
The Preparation
- 1 medium head of cauliflower
- ½ medium onion, chopped
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- The Execution
The Execution
- Chop up your cauliflower into bite-size pieces, place it into a casserole dish.
- Dice up your onions and add it to the cauliflower.
- Pour in your sour cream and cheese into the dish.
- Mix it all together!
- Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.

Chicken stir fry recipes?

Cake storage
Tomorrow is New Years and I'm bringing a cake in the evening for the family. I'm preparing the cakes today (30th) and the ganache tomorrow morning then assembling it all together, now here's the, sorta dumb question: Should I store the cakes today in the refrigerator or room tempature? Same question for the whole cake once it's assembled. Thanks

I ate something so incredibly delicious and I want to know what it is!!
I went to a hole in the wall Lebanese restaurant yesterday and had this dish that consisted of : cauliflower and ground beef cooked in a tomato sauce served over basmati rice. I had the waitress write down what it is and of course I can’t find it. Called the restaurant and of course my description was not enough to get an answer. It was one of those specials of the day so it’s not on their menu.
Anyone familiar with what i had? I can’t stop thinking about it! Lol

Help needed: guest for NYE requires a dairy free, gluten free, nut free diet.
My sister in law is coming over on NYE. I'm cooking, as I always do, but want to make something she can have as well. Even if it just is a side dish, what are your favorite recipes that fit within the above parameters? There's no risk of anaphylaxis, so no need to worry there. As long as the dish itself doesn't contain those ingredients, merely being around them is fine. I will of course practice proper safety to ensure there's no risk of cross contamination in any way from the rest of what I'm cooking. So again, I ask, what are your go to recipes I can put together for her?

Looking for vegetarian dinner recipes.
Right now my SO and I typically eat red meat 1x a week, chicken 3x a week, and fish 2x a week. I'd really like to start incorporating vegetarian meals 1-2 nights a week but my SO swears he needs meat to feel full. Obviously he's dumb and needs protein, not meat. I’m planning a special valentines dinner and need opinions on a potential recipe, please help.
So the idea is to make a sort of surf and turf with dry aged strip steak that’s cooked via Sous code and then finished on a charcoal and wood grill. On top of that would be lobster with lemon Aioli and caviar sprinkled on top. What do you think? Any suggestions?

Hello reddit friends! There’s this soup at my local hibachi called pork dumpling soup that I have an undying love for and I was just wondering if anyone knew how to make it? It’s really very simple, just pork dumplings, broth, and what looks to be carrots and mushrooms in it. I’m just not sure how to create the broth and how to make dumplings or if i could just purchase them? Thanks in advance!

What is the best way to spice up peanuts?
I tried roast peanut with oil, ground salt and spices (Cheyene pepper). I had to use a lot of salt and spices to make peanuts coated. The final product was good, but no better than cheap peanuts from the store.Can anyone suggest methods, spices or tricks to make peanuts taste better?

Cooking for friends Sunday
Hi,
I'm cooking for friends this Sunday at their place (they have a baby so it's easier for us to go there). I don't want to have them have to host + cook + take care of a 6-mo old so I volunteered to take care of dinner.
Does anyone have any ideas/recipes that I could prep at home in a tray, have in keep in a try for about 4-6 hours and be able to pop in the oven at their place? I'm cooking for 6 including myself.
