I don't know if this is a question that's ok too pay here or not, so I'm sorry if it isn't. I've been making ice cream quite a bit recently, but there's something that's been bothering me. Whenever I make it with fruits the texture almost reminds me of eating shaved ice. It looks like ice cream, but it's almost icy when you eat it. I thought maybe it's because I don't make it with an ice cream maker or maybe it's because of the extra liquid added from the fruits, but I don't really know. It's still the exact same and turns out good, other than this one thing, so it's not that big of a deal, but I was wondering if anyone has any ideas or advice on how to make it more so that the texture is like ice cream instead of shaved ice.
