My wife and I recently bought a quarter cow because...well, honestly because we also bought a deep freeze and always wanted to do that. Anyway, one of the options we also purchased was a whole beef heart. But we've never cooked such a thing, and so thought this might be a good place to ask for recipes for it.
Now, for a little context, both my wife and I are VERY bland eaters. I jokingly tell people that "if it's spicier than butter, I'm not gonna like it". We don't mind spice of the cinnamonish variety, but "hot" spices are...out.
So...does anyone have a good beef heart recipe for us to give a shot?
