I never understod why Americans are obbsessed with macaroni cheese until I went on holiday to California and had some from Captain Kidds. It tasted cheap and stodgy and amazing. Anyone who's had macaroni cheese from the UK and America knows they aren't the same food.
I've tried everything but nothing compares. Does anyone have a recipe for American style macaroni cheese they could share with me?
