Allergens in recipes

Hi, this is not so much a recipe but a question about recipe books.

How do you think it is better (for the reader) to deal with allergens?

1. State the allergens and highlights them, for example "contains wheat gluten" or "contains peanuts"

or

2. Mark "Allergen-free" recipes and highlight that, for example "Gluten-free" or "Nut-free"
