Need some recipe advice for chicken marinade I’m using for tacos

I’m experimenting with a sauce that I put cut up raw chicken in and then cook the chicken for tacos. I blend up a can of adobo sauce with chipote chili’s in it and throw in some cumin brown sugar salt pepper and lime juice and then cook the chicken, it’s pretty good but I’m wondering if anyone has some ideas to elevate it.
