Requesting recipes for a sauce that would pair well with deep-fried, cheese stuffed chicken patties.

Planning on making chicken patties today based on this recipe, and I would like to use a sauce other than plain, store-bought mayonnaise or BBQ sauce. Something flavorful but won't break the budget. Any suggestions?
