Me and my mum have a chicken dish that we're very fond of that we call "drunken chicken", after extensive research I have concluded that its not drunken chicken. This chicken is made with oyster sauce, dark and light soy sauce, ginger, fish sauce and whiskey, this is then used to marinate the chicken overnight, which is then fried in the sauce and served over rice.
My mum knows the recipe roughly, but I'd like to be able to make it without her, so I'd really like to know what it's really called.
P.S If this isn't the right subreddit for this kind of post can someone direct me to where I could get help for this? Thanks!
bon appetit
