I am trying to plan out a birthday high tea for my wife but I am not exactly skilled in the kitchen. I just learned how to make a white sauce last week...
Allergies: No garlic, onions or citrus is allowed
So, I am looking for some recipes that have commonalities so that I am not making 8 tiny extremely differently prepared things. I also don't want to make 24 finger sandwiches of each type. Having to replace garlic and onion (even in powdered forms) is also non-trivial to taste, it took the wife years to figure out how to substitute.
Any idea on what I can make?
So Far:
- Cucumber sandwiches Easy
- Mini Pot Pie To much for a noob?
- Smoked Salmon Top 2 sandwiches, both using salmon
- Crumpets Can I just put them in the ovan? no ring molds.
- Scones, from our Companys Coming cook book
- Raspberry Cupcakes These look easy
- Butterbeer I don't have a clue which one to try, #1 seems the most legit but no candy thermometer.
