8 flour, 8 butter/margarine, 7 sugar, 3 eggs and flavouring
(replace some flour with coco powder for chocolate cake)
(1/4 teaspoon of baking powder/bicarb if you aren't using self raising flour)
mix and put in a lined/greased baking tin
bake at 190°C untill when you stab it the knife/kneedle is clean (check after 20 mins then every 5-10 mins till its cooked)
take out of the tin and let cool
decorate or serve
[Its a very versatile recipie, you can adapt it to make a big cake or cupcakes or add sprinkles for a funfeti cake or whatever you want]
