Spaghetti with provolone and nuts

This recipe for spaghetti with provolone and nuts is for many days in a hurry, but still want to eat something other than the typical canned pasta with tomato nice. In this case simply as the spaghetti is cooked, put grilled cheese and’re trying some nuts.

This spaghetti you can do with cheese halloumi, if you find him, but I must confess that I find it increasingly difficult to find in any supermarket, even in large chains which typically have much variety of cheeses.

Ingredients:

  • 14 oz of spaghetti
  • 30 ml of extra virgin oil
  • 8.5 oz of provolone
  • 1.5 oz of walnuts
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 7 oz of cooking cream
  • Salt and black pepper

Instructions:

  1. In a hot pan with some oil pour the cheese and nuts, cooked on the grill over high heat for 4 minutes or until we see the golden cheese, removed this mixture and reserve hot.

  2. Add the remaining oil and fry the chopped cloves of garlic, add the cream and cook for 3 minutes, reserved.

  3. While you are doing this earlier boil in salted water the pasta once it is al dente drain it and mix with hot cream. Cover with the pieces of cheese and walnuts and serve the time.
