Chocolate Christmas Cake

Enjoy this delicious Chocolate cake for all occasions!!

Cooking time - 8 mins, Prep time - 10 mins, Serves - 12

Ingredients

1 and 1/4 cups - All purpose flour (Maida)

1 cup - Powdered Sugar

1/4 cup - Cocoa Powder

1 tsp - Baking Powder or Baking Soda

100 gms and 1&1/2 tbsp for ganache - Butter

1 cup - milk

2 tbsp - Vinegar

1 tsp - Vanilla Essence

1 cup - Amul cream

1 cup - Dark Chocolate/ chocolate chips

1 cup - Chopped Nuts - Almonds, Cashews, Walnuts

Method

  • Heat the milk and add vinegar. Keep it aside and let it curdle.

  • Add butter in the milk and let it melt. Add vanilla essence.

  • Take all the dry ingredients and sieve it together. Maida, cocoa powder, baking powder, sugar.

  • In a microwave safe cake mould add the dry ingredients.

  • In batches pour the wet ingredients into the mould to form the batter.

  • Add chopped nuts and chocolate chips.

  • Bake for 8 mins in microwave mode.

  • For ganache- in a wok, heat the cream and add chocolate and butter.

  • Let it melt and drizzle onto the cake. Your cake is ready !!
