We decided to grow spearmint and chocolate mint this year (in containers). They are not growing out of control but we are a household of two and all of our friends already have their own mint plants. Our plants are quite healthy and we have a ton of mint on our hands. I’ve been drying some, freezing some into ice cubes with lime and simple syrup (for mojitos), and throwing a few leaves into our salads.
What else can I do with mint (and chocolate mint, in particular)? I’m going to end the season with a TON of mint and want to put it to good use.
