Masala chai is a popular beverage tea made by a mixture of milk, water, sugar, aromatic spices and herbs.
INGREDIENTS
1 cup milk
1 cup Water
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
3 piece cloves
2 teaspoon tea leaves
2 teaspoon sugar Increase or decrease as per your taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Place water, ginger, cardamom, cloves, tea leaves in a saucepan and boil it.
Add the milk and boil it for another 3 minutes.
You can add sugar or sweetener of your choice.
Once you see the chai rise up until just before it bubbles over the edge of the pot lower the heat and stir it. Repeat this step for 4 to 5 times. More you do it better will be the taste.
Place the masala chai into a cup.
You can enjoy this flavorful masala chai with your favorite cookies while reading a book, watching television, at work or doing any activities.
