Is there a way to make Ram-don without Neoguri? Want to try it b/c of parasite, but have an allergy to seafood.

I want to make it for the bf when we watch parasite this weekend (he hasn’t seen it yet). I have any allergy to seafood though, so wondering how I can make it without it but somewhat similar texture and appearance. TIA!!
