I am looking to make a coconut flavored cake that does not require toasted or other coconut flake and will not be topped with any sort of coconut cream frosting. I think it will utilize coconut cream in the cake batter? I plan to fill with raspberry and top with buttercream. Just haven't worked out the coconut cake part yet. Any experience would be appreciated. I also don't care to use coconut "flavor" or extract.
