I have just raided a friend's garden and I have a bunch of various hot peppers. (Ghost, chocolate habanero, hot Portuguese, and I think cherry bomb) I want to use them before they spoil. Any ideas or favorite recipes for salsas, sauces, etc? Also, I have never cooked with hot peppers before. Anything I need to know before I get into this? Like safety tips or methods to avoid me hurting myself?
