I know how to work with whipped cream. Fruity zest, grate dark chocolate, acid like raspberry, sweet like strawberry etc. I see whipped cream and I know what will work with it.
But I just can't figure mascarpone out! I mean, it literally tastes like heaven, but what can you pair it with? Everything I see is either ice cream, tiramisu or whipped cream... I want a dessert with a base of mascarpone. It has such an amazing mouthfeel out of the box, so I don't want mix too much stuff in it.
