So I normally make strawberry "jam" in the summer (blend strawberries with a bit of maple syrup and chia) and the results are DELICIOUS on plain yogurt and toast and whatever else.
So I decided to make blueberry "jam" the same way and it is so not good. I am looking for a way to use up 2-3 lb. of blended, tasteless blueberries and I'm not finding anything interesting. Would cooking and sweetening the whole thing make it taste better? Even on vanilla ice cream, the taste is so bland and... pastey. When we bought them, they tasted so good :(
